Jerry Jones

Lead Pastor

One of the most important things I can tell you about myself is that in the middle of my senior year of high school, God began to work on my heart and I felt His leading to go to Ozark Christian College and study for the ministry. I knew He wanted me to be a Youth Pastor and reach kids with the message and love of Jesus. Over the last 38 years of ministry, not only did that happen, but He also allowed me to lead others in Worship Ministry, Small groups, Outreach and Evangelism. I think all that laid the foundation for me to eventually become a Senior Pastor.

My wife, Lucy and I have been married for 39 years and we have 2 amazing boys and 7 wonderful grandkids. My hobbies are golf, tennis and walking with Lucy.

I'm very grateful for the privilege of being the Lead Pastor of Westside Christian Church. It's a true blessing to serve and share God’s Word with these amazing people.

Ashley Dollyhite

Children's Director

I am a Winston-Salem native,  but a Mountaineer  at heart.  My background and education is in child development and child psychology.  I am a preschool teacher at Reynolda Preschool and I teach children's art classes on the side. I am a mom to two daughters, Anne (12) and Lauren (10),  wife to my college sweetheart Daniel, and we just took on two puppies, April and Andy.  My heart can be won over with cupcakes and ice cream, and our favorite activity as a family is our mountain trips and bike rides.

I feel the most important thing we can teach our children is how much the Lord loves them.  I started in August 2017 working with our infant to elementary aged children and have loved every minute.  I strive to help each child that walks through our doors to develop their own personal relationship with Christ.
