What to Expect

Westside Christian Church exists to make friends and lead them to follow Jesus for life.  We believe everyone is welcome, nobody's perfect, and what happens here will made a difference in your life.  We're a "church for people who don't go to church," which means we offer a safe and authentic atmosphere to explore faith in Jesus. Everything we do is designed to welcome new people while engaging with our regular attenders.  We meet every Sunday for service at 10:00AM.  Children aged birth-5th grade have a full program that runs at the same time as our adult service.

PARKING

We meet in the Lewisville Crossing Shopping Center, and our building is located in the corner space behind Exxon/7-Eleven. Park in any open space, and make your way to our front door.

KIDS' CHECK-IN

Immediately to your right as you enter our front door is our kids' check-in counter. As a first-time family at Westside, we want to make dropping off your children in our Westside Kids environment as easy as possible. Our Kids Team is at your service to make sure your experience is a great one.

COFFEE BAR

To your left from the front door is our main Lobby, where you will find our coffee bar. Make yourself at home, enjoy a great cup of coffee, or even meet up with someone you know. Everything is free, and you'll notice by drinking our coffee, you're making a difference globally through our friends at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Co. Ask us about that partnership with collaborative trade farmers in Rwanda.

SERVICE

Our service begins at 10:00am and usually lasts about 75 minutes. You'll hear modern music playing in the background before we begin, and service starts with our worship team leading a song. Feel free to sing along, or just read the lyrics from the screen. At Westside, our music is loud, our teaching is from the Bible, and our dress code is: please wear clothes!

COmmunion & offering

Every week, during our worship service, we take time to reflect on Jesus' gift to us through his death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. It is an open invitation for those who believe to remember Jesus' love, grace, and redemption. You'll hear instructions from our stage about how we observe communion.

We also take up an offering every week. We do not ask or expect new guests to give. Instead it is a time for our regular folks and members to worship God through financial giving. There are three ways to give at Westside: as the buckets are passed during Sunday service, on our website, and at the Giving Kiosk in our lobby.

first time gift

You will find a Connection Card at your seat when you arrive for service. We'd love for you to fill out a card to get any information or to answer any questions you may have. After service, if you will take that card to our T-Shirt/Welcome Table, just outside the auditorium, they will hand you a Westside t-shirt as our gift to you for being our guest. That's our way of saying "we're glad you are here, and thank you for coming!"
