What to Expect

You can expect friendly and authentic people, engaging and relevant music and worship, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. You will be encouraged and maybe even challenged.

Expect to hear about Jesus.

Expect honesty.

Expect to be shown the love of God.

Parking

We meet in the Lewisville Crossing Shopping Center, and our building is located in the corner space next to Session Distribution. Park in any open space, and make your way to our front door.

Kid's Check-In

As you enter our front doors, our kids' check-in desk will be right in front of you. As a first-time family at Westside, we want to make dropping off your children in our Westside Kids environment as easy as possible. Our Kids Team is at your service to make sure your experience is a great one.

Coffee Bar

To your left from the front door is our main Lobby, where you will find our Welcome Desk and Coffee Bar and Fellowship Area. Make yourself at home, enjoy a great cup of coffee, or even meet up with someone you know. Everything is free, and you'll notice by drinking our coffee, you're making a difference globally through our friends at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Co. Feel free to ask us about the partnership we have with the farmers in Rwanda.

Worship Service

Our service begins at 10:00am and usually lasts about 75 minutes. The environment is casual and so is the dress code.  You'll hear Contemporary Christian Worship music as will as some Tradition Hymns from time to time.  Feel free to sing along, or just read the lyrics from the screen. At Westside, worship, prayer, Biblical teaching and community are all Core Values.

Children aged birth-5th grade have a full program that runs at the same time as our adult service. We look forward to having the opportunity to meet you this coming Sunday.

Communion & Offering

Every week, during our worship service, we take time to reflect on Jesus' gift to us through his death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. It is an open invitation for those who would like to remember Jesus' love, grace, and redemption. You'll hear instructions from our stage about how and why we observe communion each and every week.

We also take up an offering every week. We do not ask or expect new guests to give. Instead it is a time for our regular folks and members to worship God through financial giving. There are a couple of ways to give to Westside; 1 is through the buckets that are passed at the end of the service and the 2nd way is through our website.

Guest Gift

You will find a Connection Card in the back of the seat in front of you or at our Welcome Desk. We'd love for you to fill that out and turn it in at the Welcome Desk after the service and you can exchange it for a Westside T-Shirt as our gift to you for being our guest. That's our way of saying "we're glad you are here, and thank you for coming!"
